Student Art Contest and the Gardening
Festival
For the third consecutive year the Kingston Arts
Council is coordinating a Student Art Contest in
partnership with The Lung Association and Communities
in Bloom. Kingston Arts Council adjudicators have
selected artwork that will be exhibited during the

Portsmouth Olympic Harbour from March 1 to 4.
In addition the work of three professional artists
Barb Carr, Sally Chupick and Pat Shea, will be on
display.
These three artists have also visited schools to
share their artistic talent while working on a special
project for the Kingston Gardening Festival with
participating students.
First and Second Prize winners, in three categories,
as selected by the KAC adjudicators, will be announced
during an award presentation at 8 PM on Friday Family
