Theatre Kingston Auditions for upcoming season
AUDITIONS: For "The Garbage and The Flowers" - Theatre Kingston's next original production scheduled to open at the Baby Grand on Nov. 12.
This multi-media performance is based on poetry found in and around the streets, back alleyways, shopping malls and bathroom stalls of Kingston and will be danced, sung and chanted by a chorus of 7 - 8 performers, with a live electronic soundscape and visual art created on stage as part of the performance. All participants in this production will be involved in the creative process of developing the script and movement.
Auditions will be held on Wed. Sept 10 from 6:00 - 10:00 p.m, Location TBA. Please contact Katie Olsen (stage manager) at [email protected] to book an audition time. Those contacted will be asked to perform a two-minute prepared monologue. Evening and weekend rehearsals will start mid-September.
