Yes, it’s almost February and the much anticipated “Is ‘Ugly’ the New Aesthetic?” discussion at Kingston Arts & Letters.  Moderated by arts journalist Meredith Dault, the panel discussion features visual artists Michael Davidge, Dave Gordon and Chantal Rousseau as well as Breanne Oryschak, Cultural Studies, Queen’s University.  This promises to be a most animated discussion, where the troglodytes amongst us might ask, “Whatever happened to beauty?”.  If you’re feeling like chasing away the February blues, this is the night for you!  And do feel free to bring friends who might enjoy the evening!
