Biography of Angie Fyke

Art has always been part of Angie's formal education. She completed an Art Co-op diploma with Cedarbrae Collegiate Institute in 1987. She continues to study through various workshops and specialized courses. Some of her studies have taken place in Toronto at, The Ontario School of Art and The CedarRidge Creative Arts Centre. She has also studied at The Sir Sanford Fleming School of Fine Art in Halibuton. She works in all mediums but prefers Acrylic and Pencil. Her work is considered "somewhat impressionistic and of a western flair." She has been a member of the Beaches Fine Art Guild, the Oakville Art Society and is now currently participating in the Kingston Arts Council and VAGA. You can view some of her work at the Arthur Child's Gallery in Gananoque and various showings throughout the Eastern Ontario Region.
