Students will be inspired by Van Gogh's close-up vision of nature, his radically composed intimate views of flowers and grass, and learn to paint with his energetic brushwork and vibrant jewel-like chunks of colour. Learn how he composes to create stillness in constant motion; how his colour celebrates both the physical and the timeless. Acrylic and/or oil (no solvent). Beginner to advanced. The cost of the bus trip is not included in the cost of this course. Students opting not to attend the gallery will be provided the opportunity of a studio day.
